Renewable Energy Lab
A hands-on wind and clean-energy laboratory: vertical and horizontal turbine trainers, a wind-tunnel test system, on-grid and off-grid conversion chains, PLC/HMI automation and full data acquisition — from kinetic energy to a stable grid-quality output.
Lab Components
What the lab is built from
Wind Energy Training System — Vertical Type
Live demonstration unit converting wind kinetic energy to mechanical then electrical energy, with vertical turbine, 3φ AC motor and driver, AC/DC converter, voltmeter, ammeter, RPM meter, MPPT charge controller, inverter and DAQ software with sensor set.
Wind Energy Trainer with Wind Tunnel
Controlled wind-tunnel environment for repeatable aerodynamic testing — blade profile, pitch and wind-velocity studies with measurable, comparable results.
Wind Power Generation Trainer
Mobile aluminium bench carrying the full generation chain: wind power generation system, power supply control module, on-grid and off-grid inverters, wind controller, driving module, storage battery, meter board and DC/AC load module with accessories.
Dynamic Wind Power Generation Trainer
Automation-grade trainer with PLC module, inverter drive, HMI, hybrid controller, wind turbine control, AC & DC meters, off-grid inverter, battery group, energy meter, concentrator and resistive, capacitive and inductive load banks.
Storage, Inverters & Grid Interface
Battery banks, MPPT and hybrid charge controllers, and both on-grid and off-grid inverters so students study storage sizing, synchronisation and power-quality behaviour.
Instrumentation & DAQ Software
Electronic sensor sets with DAQ software for live logging of wind velocity, RPM, voltage, current and power — enabling proper performance curves and report-grade analysis.
